Several Market Intelligence services are available though the Hub’s partnership with the British Library’s IP and Business Centre. The services are free of charge to Hub companies, but not all Hub companies will be eligible. All research is tailored to meet the individual needs of each business:
Product Novelty Search Service
An expert search of specialist online databases to check if a concept or an idea, forming the basis of a new invention, has been published before in patent or research literature (up to a maximum of 3 searches per company)
Market Analysis Service
Information about an industry, market or other category. This could include: key players; market size; innovations; new technologies, the regulatory framework and patenting activity (up to maximum 6 hours research time per company)
Mailing List Service
A list of companies by activity, geographical location or size to advertise your service (up to a maximum value of £100)
Company Profile Service
Financial profiles of companies in the UK and overseas with credit risk information (up to a maximum value of £100)
Currentscan (a fee per watch applies for this service)

Competitor watches - regular reports on the latest patent applications filed by companies or individuals
